Doing the Job and Doing it Right! I love selling real estate, and I love helping my clients with their dreams -- and it shows in the work I do! A LITTLE SOMETHING ABOUT HOME TOWNE.....

...in mid 2003 with the real estate market booming, a team of local agents with a nationally-recognized brand name brokerage had it's monthly team meeting and realized that the continued payout of high fees to a company left the team with less revenue to dedicate to clients and customer service.  Additionally, the rules and franchise mindset made creativity and customization nearly impossible - there had to be a better way.

Late summer 2003, the team locates a building in a great location: right on 260 in downtown Owings, in the heart of the town center, yet close enough to routes 2 and 4 to service all of Southern Maryland. The building was an older duplex, constructed in the 1950s, very much in need of repair.  With a lot of hard work, we were open for business on January 1, 2004 as (then) Home Towne Team Select!

With a shift to an independent brokerage, we were able to forge our own path, offering 5% full service listings, custom flat-fee listing services, technological advances and much more. With our innovative offerings to our clients, lower fees and a more agent-friendly atmosphere, our agents have more funds to devote to each client, and more time to spend in the community and with family. In time, we've grown from a team mentality to that of, in 2008, a $100 million company.

In the intervening years we've been fortunate enough to attract a great many agents, wonderful partners and an ever-growing list of former, current, and future homeowners in Southern Maryland region! In a short amount of time we've grown from a small team to the area's largest and fastest-growing independent real estate brokerage, and we have no intention of slowing down!
